Our Roots
Petrik Laboratories is a family-owned business and a recognized leader in plant nutrition and applied agricultural microbiology. We have improved soil quality for more than 60 years by supporting the biological, mineral, and organic aspects of a field.
We are proud to continue the work of Vaclav Petrik Sr., whose research taught him the importance of soil solutions for plant growth. In the 1970s, he and his son were able to develop a system for soil management that completely addressed the full spectrum of soil chemistry, biology, and organic materials.
Today, the PBS and its products are used worldwide in a range of different soil types and climates with the end goal of maximizing success for farmers.
The reason we advocate so strongly for the PBS is because we were customers first, using the system ourselves for over 30 years. Having seen field success with our own eyes, we wholeheartedly believe in the potential of every farm, and we are here to help you unlock it.
